Crack The Pack Economy Guide: From First Booster to Full Automation
Crack The Pack starts with opening booster packs by hand and grows into a machine that opens, sells and upgrades on its own. With 1,001 cards, 7 variants per card and over 60 upgrades, it is easy to waste money early. This guide explains how to build a strong economy and reach automation faster.
The Basic Loop
You open a booster, see which cards you got, sell the extras and spend the money on upgrades. Each upgrade makes packs faster, bigger or more valuable, which increases income for the next round. The whole game is about making that loop more efficient.
Every decision should answer one question: will this purchase increase how much money I make per minute? If not, it can usually wait.
Sell Duplicates Without Hesitation
The most common beginner mistake is keeping every card. Duplicates are money, and money is what drives progress. Keep one copy of each card for your collection and sell the rest. Later, when you chase specific variants, you can be more selective, but early on selling everything extra is the fastest path forward.
Upgrade Order That Works
- Speed upgrades first, so packs open faster.
- Income upgrades next, so each pack is worth more.
- Automation as soon as it becomes affordable.
- Collection and cosmetic upgrades last.
This order compounds. Faster opening multiplied by higher value multiplied by automation grows much quicker than any single upgrade alone.
Choosing Between Booster Types
You can unlock up to eight booster types, and each has a different personality. Some packs improve the more you use them, rewarding patience. Mega-packs contain dozens of cards, rewarding scale. One type has a 50/50 chance of turning out badly, rewarding risk.
- Use improving packs as your steady income source.
- Switch to mega-packs once your selling speed can keep up.
- Treat the 50/50 pack as a gamble, not a strategy.
Handling the 50/50 Pack
The 50/50 pack is the most debated booster. Early in a run, a bad result can set you back significantly, so most players avoid it until their income can absorb a loss. Later, when money flows steadily, it becomes a fun way to speed things up occasionally. Never put your entire balance into it.
Reaching Automation
Automation changes the game completely. Packs open on their own, sales happen in bulk and your role shifts from clicking to planning. Reaching this point quickly should be your main goal in the first session. Once it is running, you can leave the tab open and check in periodically to spend accumulated money.
Chasing the Full Collection
Completing 1,001 cards with all 7 variants is a long project. Rare variants appear infrequently, so the late game becomes a patient grind. This is where many players either stop or settle in for the long haul. Keeping automation and income upgrades maxed out makes the grind much shorter.
Build income first, automate as early as you can and treat the risky pack with respect. Follow that plan and Crack The Pack turns from a slow card flipper into a busy factory that fills your collection while you watch.
